Jeanne Watkins, President of The Tax Gals, Inc., is an Enrolled Agent with 30+ years of experience in tax. This business is new; however she has been providing tax advocacy, tax preparation and business related services in Arroyo Grande, Ca for about 23 of those years. (fifteen in the village of Arroyo Grande, dba Watkins Business Mgmt.; and seven as senior partner in Five Cities Tax Center, and presently The Tax Gals, Inc for one and 1/2 years.
Jeanne is a "multiple years" past President of the Central Coast Chapter of the California Society of Enrolled Agents and past CA State Director. For over two decades she has served on a number of liaison committees with both state and federal tax agencies (for the interest of the taxpayer of course). She is a Fellow (graduate) of the National Tax Practice Institute (Washington DC) and has recently been named Businesswoman of the Year by the National Business Advisory Council (headed by U. S. Congressman, Tom Reynolds) for her assistance with the National Tax Advisory Council.
She has active memberships in the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), California Society of Enrolled Agents (CSEA), The Central Coast Chapter of the CSEA (CCC-CSEA), National Bookkeeping Association (NBA), the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS), the American Society of Accounting and Tax Professionals (ASATP), and the National Society of Accountants.
